1. REMI KOLAWOLE

Nigerian-Australian lyricist Remi Kolawole exudes a unique style, rhythmic flow and an honest delivery. He has that Will Smith ‘Summertime flow happening. His latest project the RAW X INFINITY album, is due next month with his collaborators Sensible J and Dutch. You can catch Remi in a hood near you on his Australian tour starting next month. 2. SOLI TESEMA

Ethiopian-Aussie Soli Tesema blew all the judges away on The Voice Australia last week claiming the last spot on Will.i.Am’s group and the last spot on the competition with Beyoncé Halo. 3. TKAY MAIDZA

Zimbabwean-born Tkay Maidza (Takudzwa Victoria Maidza) of Adelaide is bringing in a new sound. This 18 year old singer/songwriter/rapper has the edge and attitude the Aussie music scene needs. News Ltd  has noted her as ‘the young MC with the mega-watt grin has got the goods to go worldwide’. With the success of her first single Brontosaurus, Tkay is making some serious sound waves!
